Today, Claude Giraud is the 25th generation owner of the business and for him, creating “good wine” is all he thinks about. Claude has spent his life thinking of ways to not only improve his wine but to give back to France and Mother Nature. The family property in the Grand Cru of Ay, one of France’s most sought after and exclusive regions, is just the start of what makes these wines special. Claude has chosen to hand pick every barrel source by looking at the microclimate of the trees in Champagne’s Argonne Forest and will only use those that will compliment the terroir of his wine. Needless to say, every bottle, barrel, and grape is cared for by Claude and his team in order to produce the most carefully thought out result possible
