

Leeu Passant Dry Red Wine 2019 is a flagship Cape blend crafted by Andrea and Chris Mullineux, showcasing a mix of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, and 14% Cinsault. Sourced from old-vine parcels across the Western Cape and aged in French oak for 18-20 months, this wine reflects the elegance of historic South African 'Dry Reds'. On the nose, it offers complex aromas of blackcurrants, plums, and cherries, accentuated by hints of rosemary and pine. The palate is medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a harmonious blend of red and black fruits, complemented by floral notes and a finish infused with tobacco and spices. Approximately 7,000 bottles were produced.
