“I continue to be impressed with the beautiful wines of Bibi Graetz. These are highly singular, expressive wines that merit serious consideration.”
– Antonio Galloni
Château Magrez Fombrauge is the largest vineyard in Saint-Émilion at a size of 60 hectares. They plant mostly Merlot followed by small percentages of Cabernet Franc and Malbec, which makes up the blend for their top wine, currently classified as a grand cru classé. Their root date back to 1679 and is now owned by Bernard Magrez, who own several more properties on the Left Bank, Sauternes, and Pessac Leognan. The wines are made in a modern, ripe, and open style to accommodate early drinking, but can savor with cellar age of 10-15+ years. Enjoy these great Right Bank wines when they become available!
