Although it does not have the long history that other Pomerol chateaus are known for, Château Hosanna wine has been around since 1999 when it was purchased by Ets. Jean-Peirre Moueix. Previously sold under the Château Certan Giraud label, the wines are made from 11 acres of estate vines on red gravelly clay. Critics have dealt Hosanna the reputation of a more delicate counterpart to the legendary wines of Château Petrus. The wines are rich, complex, and full bodied with an elegance and charm that is noticeable in Pomerol wines. Industry principals are regarding Hosanna as one of the top, new properties to watch in the region. Vintages to look out for: 2000, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016.
