The Peter Michael Chardonnay Point Rouge 2017 is a celebrated white wine from Knights Valley in Sonoma County, crafted from select high-elevation estate sites. This limited-production Chardonnay showcases a rich and complex profile, featuring aromas of candied ginger, citrus peel, and exotic flowers. The palate reveals layers of savory pie crust, peach preserves, and honey-drizzled pears, balanced by a vibrant acidity and a silky texture. Aged in French oak with bâtonnage, it develops a long, mineral-laden finish. The wine reflects the winery's commitment to quality, made only in exceptional years, with around 270 cases produced.
