Considered one of the best sommeliers of our time, Rajat Parr makes his particular affection to Burgundy wines public knowledge. Since his early days as a new sommelier in San Francisco, Parr has always pushed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Côte d’Or on his wine lists for esteemed restaurants. Meaning “home at the edge of the forest,” Parr teamed up with different partners to launch their own negoçiant house as an opportunity to offer small quantities of hand chosen wines from his favorite vineyard sites in his favorite wine region.
