Maison Ilan

After attending a Burgundy tasting, Californian Ray Walker left the finance business to work at a winery in San Francisco. By 2010 he moved his family to Nuits-Saint-George in Burgundy where they now have a home, winery and cave. Today Maison Ilan is a garage-based micro-négociant that is sourcing fruit from only the best vineyards- Premier and Grand Cru. Walker ensures minimal intervention in his winemaking techniques to stay true to the traditional style of Burgundy.
