Jeff Ames stumbled into the wine industry on a whim but reached his oenophile stride with the establishment of Rudius Wines in 2005. The experience he gained while working under Thomas Rivers Brown for Schrader, Maybach, Outpost and Tor where surely building blocks for his successful, admirable winemaking career. He is a self-proclaimed perfectionist when it comes to the quality of his fruit and has a minimalistic approach when utilizing natural yeast and whole cluster fermentation while avoiding the use of any fining or filtration. The Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet and Chardonnay are some of the most exciting wines on the market.
