Muga

Muga is located in the historic Barrio de la Estación district (railways station district) in Haro, Rioja, where some of the oldest vineyards in the Old World are located. While Muga was established in 1932, it is one of the strongest brands in its appellation based on quality and consistency. They produce nearly 1.5 million bottles each year from their 250 hectares of vineyards, which reach over 70 countries. Muga’s winemaking is classical in their approach to winemaking utilizing malolactic fermentation and aging in oak.
