This south-facing parcel in the north of the Cornas appellation is always among the last to be harvested. Maturing in 15% new oak (a mix of barriques and demi-muids), the 2016 Cornas Lieu-Dit Les Eygats features aromas of crushed stones and cassis. Full-bodied and concentrated, it`s reserved on the palate, adding notes of vanilla and savory spices on the lengthy finish.
