Siro Pacenti is an acclaimed estate in Tuscany, known for its Brunello di Montalcino wines. Its first wines were bottled in 1988, although it had been providing grapes to other producers since 1970. Now, it is credited with being one of Montalcino's top estates, with praise coming from critics like Antonio Galloni and James Suckling. The wines from this vineyard tend to have complex aromatics and softer tannins, while wines made at a warmer 12-acre site at Piancornello are more full-bodied with a more robust tannic structure. Harvests are manual and grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging.
